 AskCHIS Online Workshops

 

AskCHIS online Introduction workshop: 
This free online workshop is an introduction to finding, selecting, and analyzing health data in AskCHIS, the online query tool for the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). This training is designed for participants who have never or rarely used CHIS data before or who have limited experience in utilizing online health data.

AskCHIS Advanced Workshop:

This free online workshop will use teach users how to locate and analyze health data while providing an overview of advanced functions in AskCHIS, the online query tool for the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS).  This training is designed for participants who have taken an introductory training or are advanced data users that have used the CHIS data before.

AskCHIS Tutorial 

The video clip below provides a brief introduction to AskCHIS, the easy-to-use, free, online Web tool that enables you to search for health statistics from your country, region or statewide. The tutorial addresses formulating data questions, building queries, graphing and exporting data and interpreting results. We encourage you to use the tutorial as an introduction or refresher for AskCHIS. The tutorial can also help you determine your training level (advanced or beginner) before attending any AskCHIS trainings.
